During my faith journey, I had always felt that my relationship with God is great yet something was missing, the full devotion. After a lot of research behind the idea of Hijab I understood that it was put in place to treat women as what they deserve: a human being with emotions and thoughts rather than an image or an object.
I paused in the hallway for a second and decided to go back to the safest spot in the house; on the couch next to my dad, to scroll through my phone in peace. This calm; for the most part, environment was shaken by one incident: someone knocked the door out of nowhere!
Maraseel is just like me, simple, sincere, and spreads joy…It is the legacy I will leave for my three beautiful girls; a message full of hope, connecting with others, and spreading kindness in the world.
Working full time with twins for all 9 months was the least to be called challenging. It was not the physical or mental, or even emotional challenges that made me feel crippled. It was the lack of support.
I planned for that… I was ready for it … I wanted to be home with my kids…
But I did not plan for what happened next!
